@GWMensSoccer's Tyler Ranalli Earns Preseason Honor

George Washington men's soccer senior Tyler Ranalli was named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Second Team by College Sports Madness on Tuesday.

Ranalli had a breakout junior campaign, ranking second on the team with three goals and seven points. The forward from Powell, Ohio, started 17 games for the Colonials and amassed 1,323 minutes of playing time. A team captain, Ranalli has scored four goals and 10 points in his career.

The Colonials visit James Madison for their third and final preseason tune-up on Saturday at 5 p.m. GW opens the 2013 season on Friday, Aug. 30, against American at the annual D.C. College Cup on the campus of George Mason University.
