With the GW men's water polo team set to open its 2013 campaign this weekend at the Navy Open, Head Coach Scott Reed announced that senior Daniel Tyner and junior Adam Wrobel have been chosen as team captains by their teammates and coaches.

"Dan and Adam will make great team leaders," said Coach Reed. "Their energy and enthusiasm will help keep this team motivated and focused throughout the season."

A two-time All-Southern Division selection, Tyner led the Colonials in scoring last season with 51 goals and 74 points and has tallied 158 goals and 234 points in his career. Wrobel enters his second season in the pool with the Buff and Blue after missing his entire freshman campaign with a shoulder injury. He recorded 13 points and 18 steals in 2012 while getting himself back into form and should make a splash this year.
