The George Washington baseball team is continuing its community service efforts this winter by holding a Holiday Toy Drive, to benefit Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C.

The team will be accepting both toys and monetary donations for Children's National, the only exclusive provider of pediatric care in the District.

"One of my old coaches has a son who was diagnosed with cancer and they started a foundation called Kyle's Kamp, which partners with Children's National," said senior Colin Milon.  "We wanted to do something as a team that was meaningful. As college baseball players, we know that we are seen in a certain light and to have the ability to truly impact the lives of children in a powerful and beneficial way is very important to us. We also plan on visiting the hospital early next semester."

The team will be accepting donations until Tuesday. If you are interested in making a donation, please contact Colin Milon at
