The last few days in Tampa have proved to be quite busy and productive. The team has now completed two rounds of time trials, the first being the freshman and the second being the varsity squad.
These time trials will assist the coaches in determining speed order of the athletes coming into the last part of winter training once we get back to DC. This morning the team completed a technique-focused row in a thick fog following a yoga session. Later in the day we went out in mixed lineups with the freshman. It was a strong and competitive workout for everybody out on the water.

Monday was yet again another solid day of training for our squad here in Tampa, Florida. We used both our morning and afternoon water sessions to get in preparatory swings for some hard work tomorrow morning in frigid temperatures. Despite the incoming cold front, our crew's spirits remain high and we are looking forward to a number of special events over the next few days. Tomorrow we will be welcoming Athletic Director Patrick Nero to Tampa. Both the men's and women's rowing teams are thrilled to have dinner with Patrick tomorrow night and truly appreciate his unwavering support for both our respective teams. On another exciting note, the women's team will be spending Wednesday at Universal Studios! This will be a great opportunity for our crew to relax, have some fun, and get in some solid team bonding!
