Each week during the summer the 22&G Blog will bring you blog posts from one of three GW Volleyball student-athletes.

The blog series will focus on the unique journeys of Natalie Leger, Jordan Timmer and Kelsey Newman

Each year, DigitalHoopsBlast.com's Andy Pawlowski recounts the best practices in sports digital and social media, focusing primarily on basketball, across the top conferences in the country.

In DHB's recent countdown of the top 10 great ideas from the Atlantic 10, GW led its conference counterparts with three selections.

Check out which three ideas made the cut after the jump.

My Kenyan Adventures

George Washington lacrosse junior Mackenzie Jones has packed up and traveled to Kenya for the next six weeks as she works with Coaches Across Continents - an international non-profit organization that works with local leaders, teachers and sports coaches in developing communities around the world on sports for social change projects.

Since opening in 1975, the Charles E. Smith Center has always been a magnet for the nation's most influential politicians, entertainers and athletes.  Since the facility's transformation in 2010 though, some of the best athletes and franchises in the world have routinely used the Smith Center for practice and training sessions.

This past Saturday, May 10, the Indiana Pacers were the latest team to use the Smith Center as they prepared to face the Washington Wizards at Verizon Center in the NBA Playoffs.

Check out more from the Pacers practice, as well as other high-profile athletes and teams to grace the Smith Center hardwood...

Two GW softball players were named to Atlantic 10 All-Conference teams by College Sports Madness last week, headlined by second baseman Megan Linn, who was tabbed Freshman of the Year.

The website also selected Linn to the All-Conference First Team while placing junior shortstop Victoria Valos on the All-Conference Second Team.

GW men's basketball National Letter of Intent signee Darian Bryant excelled at the Capital Classic's Metro All-Stars East vs. West game at T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Va., on Saturday, April 26.

The honorable mention Washington Post All-Met and Second Team All-WCAC selection was the Metro East team's second-leading scorer with 18 points in a 126-117 loss to the West.

Below are some highlights from the game via DCSportsFan.com, including clips of Bryant at 1:03 and 1:24 as well as an interview at 1:56.

Bryant is set to join Matt Cimino, Paul Jorgensen, Anthony Swan and Yuta Watanabe as part of the Colonials' incoming freshman class for 2014-15.

The GW Volleyball team is familiar with taking advantage of #OnlyAtGW moments. Last spring, the team got a behind-the-scenes tour of the United States Capitol as special guests of Florida Congressman Vern Buchanan.

Keeping up with the tradition, the Colonials recently competed in a team-wide neighborhood race that had them traversing the Foggy Bottom Campus, National Mall and surrounding D.C. sights.
