Last Friday, the team volunteered at the inaugural Tour de Cure hosted by the American Diabetes Association.

The Tour de Cure is a series of fundraising cycling events held around the country with every mile cycled and dollar raised supporting the ADA's research, information and advocacy to increase diabetes awareness and improve the lives of those affected by the disease.

"We helped set up the
Stop Diabetes Village and the Farmers Market at Freedom Plaza," said junior Taylor Redmond. "As student-athletes, we understand the importance of being active in the community and this was a great opportunity to get involved in an event that directly helps to improve the lives of others."
