Student Shuttle to Barcroft Park

Free student shuttles will be available to Barcroft Park for GW baseball games on select dates.

Shuttles will run one hour before the start of the game, and conclude at the time of first pitch. Shuttles will return immediately following the final out of the game.


Departure Points: Charles E. Smith Center (22nd and G Streets, NW) & Barcroft Park Main Entry Gate

Shuttle Dates and Times

Sunday, May 12 (vs. VCU) - Departs at 11am and 11:40am for Game 1. Will return to 22nd & G Sts, NW to pick up additional fans for game 2 after the final out of game 1, and return remaining fans to GW after the conclusion of game 2.

By Public Transportation: Arlington Recreation Center
  • Take the Orange Line to the Ballston Metro Stop
  • Take the 22A Bus
  • Exit at the Four Mile Run Dr. & West Village of Shirlington stop
  • Field is on the Right
By Car From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport:
  • Exit the airport and go North up the George Washington Memorial Parkway
  • Follow signs for I-395 South
  • Take the Shirlington exit
  • Proceed approximately half a mile
  • Turn right onto Shirlington Road
  • Proceed one block to a left onto Four Mile Run Drive
  • Proceed approximately one mile
  • Parking at the Arlington Recreation Center is on the left
By Car From Downtown Washington:
  • Take I-395 South
  • Follow signs for I-395 South
  • Take the Shirlington exit
  • Proceed approximately half a mile
  • Turn right onto Shirlington Road
  • Proceed one block to a left onto Four Mile Run Drive
  • Proceed approximately one mile
  • Parking at the Arlington Recreation Center is on the left
By Car From Points North:
  • Take I-95 South to I-495 West (Beltway) toward Silver Spring
  • Continue on I-495 West and take the Route 50 East exit
  • Turn right onto George Mason Drive
  • Turn left onto Four Mile Run Drive
  • Parking at the Arlington Recreation Center is on the right
By Car From Points Northwest:
  • Take I-270 South to I-495 South (Beltway)
  • Continue on I-495 West and take the Route 50 East exit
  • Turn right onto George Mason Drive
  • Turn left onto Four Mile Run Drive
  • Parking at the Arlington Recreation Center is on the right
By Car From Points West:
  • Take I-66 East to I-495 South
  • Continue on I-495 South and take the Route 50 East exit
  • Turn right onto George Mason Drive
  • Turn left onto Four Mile Run Drive
  • Parking at the Arlington Recreation Center is on the right
By Car From Points South:
  • Take I-95 North
  • Upon reaching I-495 (Beltway), continue straight and the road becomes I-395
  • Take the Glebe Road exit
  • Follow North Glebe Road (bear right)
  • Turn left at the Best Western hotel and follow to the first traffic light
  • Turn left and proceed approximately three blocks
  • Turn right onto Four Mile Run Drive
  • Proceed approximately one mile
  • Parking at the Arlington Recreation Center is on the left
