GAMEDAY is your resource for all the information you'll need to make the most of your Colonials fan experience on campus. If you have questions that aren't answered on this page, email us or call 202-994-7325.
If you can't make it to the stands, make sure to visit RaiseHigh Live's Live Events tab to see if your favorite team is being broadcast live on GWsports.com. Make sure to also use GWsports.com to follow live stats on Gametracker.
Finally, don't forget that that the official uniform of the Colonials fan is Buff and Blue. Make sure to visit the GW Bookstore to get your GW Gear, or visit the GWsports.com store to order yours now!
SMITH CENTER GAMEDAY
The Charles E. Smith Center is one of the best arenas of its kind on the East Coast. The home to Colonials basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, swimming and water polo, it is the home to Colonials Athletics and the source of the best memories many GW alumni have.
Students can attend any Colonials sporting event free with a valid GWorld, but non-student fans interested in attending GW men's or women's basketball, volleyball or gymnastics events need to purchase tickets. Fans can visit GWsports.com/tickets for information on how to purchase from the Smith Center Box Office or order online.
Admission is free to all fans interested in attending GW Swimming meets or Water Polo matches.
Fans with tickets in hand can enter the arena through the Smith Center Box Office located on 22nd Street between F and G Streets, NW. Fans needing to pick up tickets at Will Call for GW men's or women's basketball games should enter up the Northeast Ramp of the arena located at the corner of 22nd and G Streets, NW.
For GW men's and women's basketball games, students should enter the arena via the Southwest ramp on F Street near Townhouse Row.
Because the Charles E. Smith Center is in a busy section of a major city, we encourage you to go green and take Metrorail or Metrobus to the game. The Smith Center is located at the corner of 22nd and G Streets NW, three blocks from the Foggy Bottom-GWU stop on the blue, orange and silver lines. Visit the WMATA website for more information on getting to the game via public transportation.
Street parking for games is extremely limited. We encourage you to visit GW Parking Services' list of garages on campus for information on available visitor parking garages, their rates and hours.
Game Day Eats
Concessions are available for Colonials men's and women's basketball games. If you're on the way to the Smith Center for volleyball, gymnastics, swimming or water polo, or you want to meet up with friends for pre-game and post-game, we recommend any of these three great partners of Colonials athletics.
Once you're at the game, connect with other fans. Send a shout out to @GWGeorge on Twitter, give a "Let's Go G-Dub" or a "Raise High" to the George Washington University Colonials on Facebook (pictures too!) and check in to the Charles E. Smith Center on Foursquare. You might win a prize!
MOUNT VERNON CAMPUS GAMEDAY
All fans are able to support Colonials men's soccer, women's soccer, lacrosse, men's tennis, women's tennis and softball for free. There's no cost for any fans, so bring your whole family!
The entrance to the Mount Vernon campus is located on Whitehaven Parkway NW at Foxhall Road. You can either take the complimentary Vern Express bus from Foggy Bottom (located on G Street across from the Smith Center), or park your car in the campus garage. Parking is free for fans on weekends. The garage is attended on weekdays.
