2nd Annual GW Men's Basketball Home Opener Tailgate

The GW Department of Athletics and Recreation is proud to partner with the Colonial Army and the George Washington University community to present the 2nd Annual GW Men's Basketball Home Opener Tailgate. Once again, the Colonials are shutting down 22nd Street in front of the Charles E. Smith Center for free food, music and fun for Colonials fans all over the area before starting the regular season against Youngstown State on Saturday, November 10th at 4pm. The tailgate starts at 2pm.

Anyone is invited to attend this special event, with great grilled food and drink provided by FoBoGro, live music presented by WRGW and DJ Critical Mass, games, face painting and poster making, and help from some of GW's greatest organizations, but tickets are required for all non-students to attend the game.

At nearby Veteran's Memorial Park, there will be a free beer garden presented in conjunction with FoBoGro for all fans over the age of 21.
