Taylor was instrumental in leading GW to a perfect 2-0 week in conference play. He scored his career-high 28 points to lead GW over La Salle in the A-10 opener Jan. 5 at Smith Center. He also led GW with 20 points in the Colonials' 78-71 victory over Saint Joseph's in Philadelphia, the first time Taylor and the Colonials have played a game in SJU's Hagan Arena. Taylor's stats for the week: two games, 48 points on 14-30 FGs (46.7%), 3-8 3FGs (37.5%), 17-26 FTs (65.4%), 8 assists, 9 rebounds (0 offensive, 9 defensive), 5 turnovers and 3 steals in 76 minutes.
