Damian Hollis scored his 1,000th career point and collected his 500th career rebound in the Xavier game Jan. 10 at Smith Center. He became the 42nd Colonial to score at least 1,000 points in a career. He led all players with a game-high 23 points and grabbed five rebounds and blocked four shots against the Musketeers. Earlier in the week, the senior from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, scored 12 points with seven rebounds as GW defeated St. Bonaventure Jan. 6 on the road.

Hollis' stats for the week: two games, 35 points on 12-32 FGs (.375), 4-10 3FGs (.400), 7-9 FTs (.778), 12 rebounds (1 offensive, 11 defensive), six assists, four steals and six blocks in 64 minutes.
