In her first weekend of collegiate competition, freshman Jacqueline Bywater led GW with 16 goals, 10 assists and 10 steals in three games at the Bison Invitational as GW went 2-1. Bywater equaled GW's 14-year-old single-game scoring record with eight goals against Notre Dame (Ohio) and added three assists to also match the school mark with 11 points in the contest while also recording four steals. Earlier in the day, she scored six points on three goals and three assists and added four steals and an ejection drawn against Bucknell in her collegiate debut. The rookie from Riverside, California, concluded the weekend with five goals on just seven shots plus four assists and two steals in the Colonials' win over Siena. For her efforts, Bywater was also named CWPA Division I/II Rookie of the Week.
