David Zenk set two Atlantic 10 records at last week's 2007 Atlantic 10 Championships held in Buffalo, NY. Zenk swept the 200-yard IM and 400-yard IM in 1:49.38 and 3:54.94, respectively. Both of these record times rank in the top 40 in the nation this season.

The St. Louis native's 200-yard IM record was previously set back in 1999 by former Colonial Juan Bocanegra, who recorded a time of 1:49.81. The new mark in the 400-yard IM broke a record that was set back in 1994, by Jeff Farschon of Rutgers, who touched in 3:54.95.

Zenk also placed second in the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 1:48.29. This is the third time this year (second of the swimming season) that Zenk has been recognized as the Colonial of the Week.
