Sophomore Victoria Valos batted .467 (7-for-15) with nine RBIs and seven runs scored to lead GW to a perfect 5-0 week. Five of her seven hits went for extra bases, including two doubles and three home runs, and she also walked three times for a .556 on-base percentage.

Valos went 3-for-4 with a double and a three-run homer in a 9-7 win over Akron to open the Capital Invitational on Friday. On Saturday, she hit another home run and stole a base in a 6-0 victory over Drexel, then drove in two with a seventh-inning single in the Colonials' 7-4 win over Akron. Valos finished her week on Sunday with a 2-for-2 effort in a 4-1 win over St. John's, adding another home run and a double.

A native of Bakersfield, Calif., Valos is batting .353 on the season and leads GW with five home runs, seven doubles, 25 RBIs and 18 runs scored, as well as a .706 slugging percentage.
