Armwood scored a season-high 21 points, including 15 in the second half, in the final game of his GW career - a 71-66 loss to Memphis in the 2014 NCAA Tournament. Armwood converted 9-of-12 field goals, including 7-of-8 in the second half, to fuel the Colonials' rally to within a point. Armwood's 21 points equaled the fifth-most ever scored by a Colonial in the program's 11 all-time NCAA Tournament appearances, while his nine field goals tied for the third-most in NCAA play.
Armwood led GW in rebounding (8.4 rpg), blocks (51) and minutes played (1056) and tied for second on the team in scoring (12.7 ppg) during the 2013-14 season. He finishes his 63-game GW career as one of just two players in program history record at least 500 points (778), 500 rebounds (539), 100 blocks (119), 100 assists (102) and 50 steals (54) as a Colonial.
