Last week, Kruer hit .500 (9-for-18), had three multi-hit games, scored five times and drove in eight runs. He had an on-base percentage of .571 and finished with a slugging percentage of 1.111. On Saturday, in game two of GW's three-game series against Richmond, Kruer fueled the GW comeback attempt, slugging two home runs and driving in a career-best six RBI, finishing just a double away from hitting for the cycle. In GW's three games against Richmond, the junior recorded 16 total bases and slugged 1.455. In one stretch, between games two and three, Kruer recorded a hit (3 HR, triple, single) in five of six consecutive at-bats.
