April 3, 2017

Chelsea Raineri and Cami Drouin-Allaire each contributed to a historic weekend for GW Gymnastics at the NCAA Morgantown Regional over the weekend.

The pair both qualified as individual competitors for the upcoming NCAA Championship, the first time in program history that the Colonials are sending multiple competitors in the same season.

Raineri made history as GW's first-ever NCAA Regional champion when she tied for first place on vault with a 9.875, clinching a spot at the NCAA Championship on that event. She also shined on floor exercise where she tied for third place with a 9.90.

Drouin-Allaire qualified for the NCAA Championship in the all-around for the second time in her career, becoming GW's first-ever repeat competitor.
