Victoria Valos batted .500 (5-for-10) with two home runs and seven RBIs to lead GW to a perfect 4-0 week, extending its win streak to a school-record seven in a row. She scored six runs and also walked five times, and she was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for her performance. Valos drove in the winning run in both ends of a doubleheader against Atlantic 10 rival St. Bonaventure on Saturday. With the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning of the first game, the sophomore shortstop blasted her second home run of the game, a two-run shot, to send the Colonials to a 7-5 victory. Then in the nightcap, she was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to give GW an 8-0 win. With five RBIs on the day, the Bakersfield, Calif., native broke the program's single-season record with 38 on the year. She is batting a team-best .359 and also leads the Colonials with 10 home runs and 30 runs scored.
