Freshman Lauren Wilson went 4-for-9 in four games last week, including 3-for-3 against Saint Louis in the second game of a doubleheader on May 2. She legged out a double and two singles after getting hit by a pitch in her first at-bat in an eight-inning 6-5 win over the Billikens. Wilson also smacked a home run against Maryland on April 28.

She also drove in two runs, stole a base, laid down a sacrifice bunt and drew two walks for the Colonials in four games for a .444 batting average.

Wilson started in 44 games for the Colonials this season, mainly in left and right field. She leads the team with eight doubles, five HBPs, and in on-base percentage (.341).
