Elana went out on senior day in style as she recorded both her 200th career hit, and the game-winning grand slam to advance the Colonials to their first ever Atlantic 10 Tournament. She is the first player in GW history to record 200 career base hits. The mammoth shot was also just the third grand slam ever hit in Colonials history. Meyers led GW to a 2-1 record on the week, batting .571 with 4 runs scored, 4 RBIs, a stolen base and four walks. Elana led the Atlantic 10 with a .532 batting average in conference-only games, and is third in overall batting average (.413). The Douglasville, GA, native has a career batting average of .355, and is the first player in GW Athletics history to be named a five-time team MVP and team captain.
