Sophomore pitcher Pat Lehman threw a complete-game, seven-hitter as he led the Colonials past Duquesne, 4-3, in what was a must-win game for GW. It was the first career complete game for Lehman, and just the second thrown by a Colonial pitcher this season. The native of Fair Lawn, NJ, allowed just three runs and struck out four batters to earn his fifth win of the season, which tied him for the team lead. Lehman finished the season second on GW with a 5.31 ERA and was third with 51 strikeouts.
