Brown led the Colonials to the championship title of the inaugural DC Challenge Volleyball Tournament. Brown, named the tournament's MVP by the coaches, recorded double-doubles in each of GW's three matches as the Colonials are off to a perfect 3-0 start to the season. GW defeated Georgetown, American and George Mason to capture the tournament crown.

On Saturday at Smith Center, Brown pounded her career-high 24 kills and had 15 digs for her second straight double-double in GW's win over American. She hit .365 (24 kills, five errors in 52 attacks) for that match.

Brown's stats for the week: three matches, 12 games, 57 kills, 20 errors, 169 attempts, .219 hitting percentage, 42 digs, two block solos and four block assists, three assists and a service ace for 62 total points.
