Tyner had an impressive debut weekend for the Colonials, pacing the team with 11 goals, 16 points and 10 ejections drawn over four games at the Navy Open. He converted 11-of-24 shot attempts, including five ejection goals and three penalty goals, and added five steals and three field blocks to help GW to a 2-2 mark. He excelled in GW's two victories, totaling three goals and four assists in a 17-7 triumph over Penn State Behrend and five goals and an assist in a 9-7 win over Queens (NY). Tyner was also named CWPA Southern Division Rookie of the Week for his efforts.
