Freshman Tyler Wendelken, playing in just his second collegiate tournament, fired a two-round 142 to place second in a field of 65 individuals at the sixth annual Rehoboth Beach Fall Invitational last Monday on the Delaware Shore.

The 36-hole tournament, hosted by The George Washington University, was held at the par-71, 6,480-yard Kings Creek C.C. in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Wendelken's effort, which included a second-round 70, was just three strokes off the pace and helped the Colonials take the top two spots in the final team standings. His B team shot a 585 (291-294) to edge the Colonials' A team by a stroke in the 13-team field.
