After battling back from early-season injuries, freshman Alexis Huntey slid into the setter position for last weekend's matches and performed admirably. In her first start at the position against La Salle, Huntey handed out 28 assists in addition to nine digs, three kills, one ace and one block.

On Sunday in a five-set win over Temple, she recorded the first double-double of her career with career-highs in both assists (51) and digs (17). She added six blocks, seven kills and two aces against the Owls.

For the week, she totaled 79 assists (9.88/set), 26 digs (3.25/set) and seven blocks (0.88/set) in addition to hitting .286 (10k-4e-21a).
