Sophomore Lana Robins went 2-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles over the weekend at the 2013 USTA/ITA Atlantic Regional Championships in Charlottesville, Va, which was highlighted by knocking off the No. 121 singles player in the nation. Robins first defeated Taylor Newman of Radford (6-3, 6-3), before fighting back to earn a three-set thriller over Virginia Tech's Raluca Mita, ranked No. 121 in NCAA Division I by the ITA, by scores of 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the Round of 16. Robins ultimately fell to Virginia's Rachel Pierson (3-6, 1-6) to close the weekend. In doubles, she and rookie Grace Egger teamed up for an 8-5 victory over Navy's Katie Porter and Darien Sears.
