Each year, anyone who gives to GW Athletics becomes a member of the Buff & Blue Fund.  With your donation, you join an incredible team of alumni, parents, faculty, fans and current students who support our student-athletes and coaches as they pursue academic, personal and athletic excellence.  Your financial support helps provide state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, as well as the ability to recruit the best and the brightest student-athletes.

PERSONAL.  Your contribution to the Buff & Blue Fund will help support all 23 teams and 450 student-athletes or may be directed to the sport of your choice. 

SIMPLE.  A minimum gift of $100 to the Buff & Blue Fund and you start receiving benefits.

MEANINGFUL.  The more you give, the more impact you will make in the lives of our student-athletes, both in the classroom and in competition.

SOCIAL.  As a member of the Buff & Blue Fund, you'll enjoy exclusive events, networking opportunities, and insider access to players and coaches.

CHARITABLE.  Become a member of the Buff & Blue Fund knowing that you're making a real difference in the lives of GW's student-athletes.  Also, gifts to GW Athletics are tax-deductible.  (Consult your tax adviser for more information).

Hospitality Areas

Men's Basketball Season Ticket Holders who are also donors to the Buff & Blue Fund may be eligible to opt-in and receive the benefit of one of GW Athletics' two hopsitality areas - Colonials Club ($3000 and above) and Champions Club (formerly AD's Club - $1500 level).

Donor benefits: Colonials Club and Champions Club - Doors open 60 minutes before tip-off and provide food, beverages and dessert. Chalk talks, access to varsity coaches, student-athletes, administrators and athletic alumni. Social and networking opportunities with fellow donors, alumni, fans and friends.

If a donor opts in to receive this benefit, a portion of the contribution goes to "membership" and your impact on our student-athletes is decreased. For exampe - a $1500 donor who opts in to receive hospitality access will have a $735 donation with $765 going towards the benefits of the club.

Additionally, only the portion that is a donation ($735) will be tax deductible.
