Assistant Athletics Director Discusses the Marketing of All 23 GW Varsity Sports
Now in her 14th year at GW, Nicole Early is in her second year as Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Tickets. In that role, she oversees the areas of Marketing and Promotions including social media and fan engagement, Ticket Sales and Operations, Multimedia and Broadcast Services, Athletics Licensing and Merchandising and Athletics Branding and Graphic Design. Nicole is responsible for the development and implementation of attendance and progressive visible strategies for the GW's 23 varsity athletics programs.
She previously held the position of Executive Director of Sports Marketing and Fan Engagement where she was responsible for the critical strategic planning and implementation of athletic marketing, season ticket sales, donor club membership sales and hospitality, social media, corporate sponsorship fulfillment and special events.
Prior to joining the Athletics staff, Early was the Director of Communication and Creative Services at the university, and served on the Marketing and Promotions committee during the development of GW Athletics' Strategic Plan that was unveiled in February 2012.
A native of Utica, N.Y., Early is a graduate of SUNY Cortland with a bachelor's degree in English.
