1984 ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE

Bill Hardy played quarterback for the GW football team from 1959-1961. He was captain of the 1961 team and also played three years of varsity baseball. Following his graduation from GW, Bill spent four years at the University of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine where he received his V.M.D. in 1966. He also has served as the Associate Member, Head, Laboratory of Veterinary Oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Ketting Cancer Center in New York City. He has received numerous honors and awards for his research and professional activities. He has also served as an assistant professor of Biology at thh Graduate School of Medical Science at Cornell University and an Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.

As a Letterman in both football and baseball, Hardy was the starting quarterback on the football team, and captain of the baseball team.
