Role at GW:
A NATA certified athletic trainer, Hennelly is responsible for prevention, care and rehabilitation of injuries for student-athletes, with specific responsibility for the men's basketball and swimming teams. He also is ultimately responsible for all of the teams and for the overall administration of the program which includes supervision of a staff of seven as well as handling insurance and inventory.
Prior to GW:
While at Temple he worked as a student athletic trainer for the football, soccer and field hockey teams. At Morehead State, he worked as a graduate assistant trainer with the football and women's basketball teams.
Personal:
Hennelly and his wife, Kerri, reside in Rockville, MD.
