Role at GW:
Julien serves as Director of GW's Lerner Health & Wellness Center.
GW Highlights:
Julien was hired in late March 2001, to aid in the final stages of opening the Health & Wellness Center. During this period, Julien also developed programming for the new Health and Wellness building.
Prior to GW:
For nine years, Julien worked in the Recreation and Fitness field throughout the DC Metro area. In his most recent position, Julien served as the Director of Fitness for the Columbia Association in Columbia, MD. While at the Columbia Association, Julien directed the exercise and wellness programming staff as well as developing revenue opportunities. Prior to working at Supreme, he worked at Georgetown University from 1992-1999. Beginning as the Recreation Center Operations Manager of the 150,000 square foot Yates Field House, where he developed his knowledge of facility operations. In 1997, Julien was promoted to Director of Fitness at the Yates Field House. In this capacity, Julien was instrumental in creating the fitness and wellness programming such as personal training, group exercise classes and special programs.
