09/11/2012 GW Basketball to Report for Duty at Fort Myer on October 12Annual Colonials Invasion Season Tip-Off to be Held at Local Military Base 1986 ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE Joe Lalli was a three-year letterman in both basketball and baseball from 1964-1967. He was the basketball team's Most Valuable Player as a junior and a senior as he led the team in scoring both years. In '65-66, he averaged 16.9 points and in 17.5 points in '66-67. He scored 859 points during his three-year varsity career. He also led the baseball team in hitting as a senior with a .417 average. Lalli has taught school, coached and was Athletic Director at Scranton Prep in his Pennsylvania hometown. He also officiated numerous high school and college basketball. |
