Jen Hayman

Hayman joined GW after spending part of 2000 traveling through Australia and New Zealand, in addition, she coached junior varsity field hockey and middle school lacrosse at The Rivers School in Weston, MA. Prior to that, Hayman was a student-athlete at The College of Wooster in Ohio, where she earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in psychology in 2000.

While at Wooster, Hayman was a four-year letterwinner on the field hockey team and a two-year captain of the squad despite tearing her ACL in the first game of her senior year. She also served on the College of Wooster Student Athlete Advisory Committee, the Student Leadership Advisory Board and the Women’s Athletic and Recreation Association Board.

Hayman was awarded the 2000 Dan F. Lockhart Outstanding Senior Award, the Campus Council Leadership Award and the Maria Sexton Award for contributions to women’s athletics and recreation prior to her graduation. Hayman also was a four-year member of the Dean’s List, was named to the Division III National Academic Squad for field hockey in 1998 and 1999 and was a two-year member of Psi Chi, a psychology honors society.
