Jim O’Connor is in his first year as the assistant coach for men’s rowing at The George Washington University. O’Connor will coach the Colonials novice men.
O’Connor came to GW from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where he was a four-year varsity rower. While at Saint Joseph’s, he served as assistant coach at his former high school, Saint Joseph’s Prep, for two years.
O’Connor also served as head Junior Development Coach at Viking Rowing Club during the summer of ‘99.
A 2002 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, O’Connor was captain of the Hawks’ rowing squad his senior year.
