Men's Rowing Opens Spring Season Strong at Murphy Cup

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The George Washington men's rowing squads had a strong beginning to the spring season at the Murphy Cup regatta on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. The Colonials place 10th of 27 teams in the point standings and the GW varsity eight placed second in Saturday's grand final, just 3:32 off the pace set by host Temple.

The Colonials' next race will take place on Saturday, April 1, against Virginia on Charlottesville's Rivanna reservoir.
