PRINCETON, NJ -- The GW women's rowing team traveled to Princeton, NJ, Sunday to compete in the Princeton Chase regatta. The conditions were ideal for racing with temperatures in the 60s and only a slight headwind under sunny skies. The water was flat throughout three-mile course which started in nearby Kingston, NJ, and finished at the Princeton University boathouse.
The GW women raced two varsity eights in the Women's Open Eight. The GW A boat finished 25th while the B boat placed 38th of 45 entries in the race. The majority of the competing schools are ranked among the Top 20 in the country.
