Rowing's Molly Hueller Earns CRCA Honor

June 5, 2003

WASHINGTON, DC - Senior Molly Hueller (Stillwater, MN/Stillwater Area) has been named to the All-America Rowing second team by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA), it was announced Wednesday. Hueller also won the honor as a sophomore in 2001.

Members of the All-Region teams are selected by CRCA head coaches based on the nominee's team record, strength of schedule, nomination rank (the rank order of nominees as chosen by the nominating coach), coach's comments and 2,000-meter ergometer score. All nominees are required to have raced in the Varsity Eight a minimum of 75 percent of the boat's total races up to May 1, 2003.

Hueller, who rows in the seven seat of the Colonials' varsity eight, is a two-time team MVP for GW Women's Rowing (2001 & 2002). The Colonials tied for second place at the 2003 Atlantic 10 Women's Rowing Championships April 26 at Camden, NJ.
