Colonials of the Week: GW Sailing and Logan Lowe
The sailing team won their women’s conference championship; Lowe captured the Camden Collegiate Invitational

A busy weekend for GW athletics was highlighted by a pair of championship performances. The GW sailing team won the MAISA Women’s Fall Dinghy, which serves as the conference championship, and Logan Lowe of the golf team won the Camden Collegiate Invitational.
On the water, Miranda Bakos and Belle Strachan sailed to a third-place finish in A Division, while Riley Legault and Andreea Ranney-Pace finished first in B Division. GW now owns three conference championships in its short program history, having also won two in 2015-16.
Lowe recorded his second collegiate victory on Sunday by closing with a 68 to win by a stroke. The junior finished the tournament 4-under par and was one of just three players in the 90-man field in red figures under difficult conditions in the final round. It also marked his third consecutive top-10 as golf wrapped up its fall season.
