Legault Headed to ICSA Singlehanded Nationals
The junior is making her third consecutive appearance in the event
For the third consecutive year, junior Riley Legault will represent GW in the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship which is set to be held at the University of South Florida this weekend.
Legault is one of 18 women’s sailors from across the country to have qualified for the event. She finished third at the Faye Bennet in September to secure one of four spots given to sailors from the Middle Atlantic Intercollege Sailing Association (MAISA).
A native of Bonita Spring, Florida, Legault has recorded back-to-back top-10 finishes at ICSA Singlehanded Nationals. She took 10th place last year, and as a freshman in 2015 was just outside a top-five finish as she took sixth place at Old Dominion University.
Scores can be followed here.
