GW Swimming and Diving Finish Up Day Two of A-10 Championships

Results

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The George Washington University men's and women's swimming and diving teams completed day two of the Atlantic 10 Championships Thursday as the women dropped from second to third place and the men remained in fourth.

Junior Maggie Moss (Indianapolis, IN / North Central) broke the GW school record in the 200-yd medley (2:05.99), finishing third overall in the meet.

On the men's side, sophomore Sean Flaherty (Scarborough, ME/Scarborough) took first place in the 500-yd freestyle with a time of 4:33.93.

Day three of the four-day meet, hosted by St. Bonaventure at the Flickinger Athletic Center, begins Friday at 10:30 am.
