Colonials Swimming Starts Season With A Splash

WASHINGTON, DC - GW Swimming started the season in fine form at the Potomac Relay invite, hosted by American University. The GW women opened the season with a victory dominating the seven team field. The men also put in a strong performance finishing second out of six competing teams.

The women dominated, winning eight out of nine events and outscoring the, second place, US Naval Academy by a margin of 47 points. The men came in with a strong 114 point finish 40 points behind the victorious American Eagles. The men won one event and placed fourth in four others.
