Final Stats

FAIRFAX, VA -- GW Swimmer Maggie Moss set a Colonials record in the 100-yd freestyle on the second day of the George Mason Invitational. The Colonials women remained in fifth place with 257 points while the men kept pace in seventh with 167 points. Moss' GW record time of 57.16 is the best time in the Atlantic 10 this season and is the 41st fastest time recorded in the Nation this season.

Moss also helped the 800-yd freestyle relay team to an A-10 best time of 7:47.05. Moss was joined by Crystal Freeman, Christina Boland and Kristen Fagley to record the 15th fastest time in the Nation this season in the event. Fagley was also impressive in the 200-yd freestyle when she took second place with a season best time of 153.37. This is the third fastest in the A-10 this season.

Another women's swimmer recorded a Top 100 time in the country when Kirsten Rasmuson had the 60th fastest time in the US in the 100-yd breaststroke when she took third place with a time of 105.92. Her effort was her best this year and good for fourth in the A-10 this season. Ruth Dubyel was back in action with a fifth place finish in the 100-yd butterfly with a time of 57.61. Moss was eighth in the event finishing in a season-best time of 59.09.
