A-10 Honors GW Diving's Katura Horton-Perinchief and Krista Irish

WASHINGTON, DC - The Atlantic 10 Conference announced Monday that George Washington University's Katura Horton-Perinchief (Sandys, Bermuda / Richview Collegiate (Toronto, Canada) / Texas) has been selected as its 2005 Most Outstanding Diver and GW head diving coach Krista Irish as its 2005 Women's Diving Coach of the Year.

Horton-Perinchief captured the one and three-meter diving events at the 2005 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championships held this past weekend at the Flickinger Aquatic Center in Buffalo, NY. She claimed the one-meter competition with a score of 238.85 and amassed a winning total of 449.80 in the three-meter.

Along with Horton-Perinchief, Irish coached junior Alicia Moulton (Albuquerque, NM / Albuquerque) who placed sixth in the one-meter (184.90) and eighth in the three-meter (295.85) events at conference.
