Men's Water Polo Sunk by UC Santa Cruz, 15-7

ANNAPOLIS, MD - Men's water polo dropped a 15-7 decision to the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs in at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.

GW (2-3) was unable to keep pace with the Banana Slugs' potent offensive output, as UCSC outscored the Colonials 12-5 over periods two and three. UCSC was also dominant in man-up situations, converting five of seven opportunities during the match.

Senior Pat Dodge scored three goals to lead the Colonials and freshman Julian Price added a pair in the losing effort.

GW hosts Navy on Wednesday, September 17, in their next match at 7:30 p.m. at the Charles E. Smith Center.
