Men's Water Polo Players Named to American Water Polo Coaches Association All-Academic Team

WASHINGTON, DC (April 7, 2003) - Seven members of the George Washington University men's water polo program were named to the American Water Polo Coaches Association All-Academic Teams for their outstanding work in the classroom.

All-Academic honors were awarded based on three levels: Excellent (3.20-3.40), Superior (3.41-3.70), and Outstanding (3.71-4.0). Sophomore Srdan Radnic (Zagreb, Croatia/Parkway South, MO) was named to the AWPCA All-Academic Outstanding Team, while freshman Anthony Guadagni (Visalia, CA/Mt. Whitney)and junior Jason Grimes (Litchfield, CT/Phillips Exeter) were named to the All-Academic Superior Team. Freshman Jonathan Lo (Hong Kong, China/Phillips Andover (MA)), senior Gur Doitel (Woodside, CA/Saratoga), junior Chris Blick (Houston, TX/Clear Lake) and sophomore Greg Abate (New Haven, CT/Hopkins) all earned spots CWPA All-Academic Excellent Team
