Colonials of the Week - GW Student-Athletes Class of 2012
May 21, 2012
Joined by approximately 5,000 of their George Washington University peers, 73 GW student-athletes were recognized on the National Mall on Sunday at the university's 2012 Commencement. Over the past four years, the Class of 2012 has established a standard of both athletic and academic excellence, exemplifying the definition of student-athlete. This past year the 73 graduates helped guide GW to a school-record five championships, while also achieving a high level of success in the classroom. The department of athletics and recreation would like to thank the student-athletes from the Class of 2012 for their hard work and dedication over the years as members of the Colonials' family. We look forward to watching you Raise High the Buff and Blue in your future endeavors as proud GW Alumni!
