First Four Online Guides Debut Sept. 3
Sept. 3, 2010
WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington University Sports Information Department today launched the first four virtual guides that will replace printed media guides for all 22 GW varsity athletics programs. GW's men's and women's soccer, volleyball and men's water polo guides are now live at GWsports.com and can be viewed by clicking HERE or on the 2010-11 Sport Virtual Guides link on the home page.
These guides feature full color pages with information on each GW athletic program, as well as the Athletics Department and George Washington University. The online multimedia platform allows for embedded video, including interviews with every GW head coach and promos for GW Athletics and the University, as well as up-to-date team rosters, schedules, stats, news, photos and much more.
The next wave of virtual guides will include cross country, men's and women's basketball, swimming, squash and gymnastics. The final wave will include baseball, softball, women's lacrosse, women's water polo, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's rowing and golf.
