Prior to GW:Four year member of the Cross Country team at Southern California...Named team captain in 2005...Selected to Pac-10 All-Academic First Team in 2005...Was named to the Academic All-American Third Team...Placed in top 40 in the 2003 Pac-10 Championships...Also ran track where she set the USC freshman record in the 5,000m with a 17:55...Took fifth in the 10,000m at the 2004 Pac-10 Track Championships...Was named her schools salutatorian.

High School: Ran Cross Country and Track at Chaparral High School ... a four-time state qualifier, she was named all-conference twice ..as a senior was named as her high school's scholar-athlete of the year ... also played basketball and soccer ...was named her schools valedictorian, a member of the National Honors Society and a National Merit Scholar.

Personal: Born November 8, 1983 in Denver, Colorado ... daughter of Linda Mitchell and Ken Neeper ... enjoys hiking, reading, movies, travel and languages ...intends to major in international affairs and work in foreign policy after graduation.
