LOCK HAVEN, PA - The George Washington University's women's cross country team finished 19th and the men finished 21st at the NCAA Regional meet on Saturday, November 15. Freshman Bridget Skeuse (Stockton, NJ/Immaculata) completed a fantastic first season by finishing in 81st place, while senior Darrell Andruski (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) ended his career with a 34th place finish.

Skeuse completed the 6K course in 22:53 and was followed closely by junior Trina Bolton (Avondale Estates, GA/The Lovett School), who finished in 83rd. Senior Emily Jadwin (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) and junior Erin Patton (Saline, MI/Saline) were next for the Colonials and sophomore Meghan Dunn (Clinton, NY/Clinton) finished off the scoring.

Andruski led the Colonials for the third race in a row finishing the 10K course in 31:28. Sophomore Phil Sherman (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) ran his best race of the season and was the second Colonials runner to finish. Three freshmen, Ian Hajek (San Diego, CA/(Home Schooled)), Ryan Shaver (Coatesville, PA/Coatesville) and Daniel Morgan (Danville, KY/Boyle County), rounded out the scoring for GW.

The race completed the season for both cross country teams and they will now prepare for their spring season.
