WASHINGTON, DC - Freshman Bridget Skeuse (Stockton, NJ/Immaculata) was named cross country Rookie of the Week, the Atlantic 10 announced on October 20, 2003. This is the second time this season that Skeuse has received the honor.

Skeuse finished 82nd out of 255 runners for the Colonials at the Penn State National, which featured five ranked teams, on Saturday, October 18. She finished the 6K course in 22:58.37, which is a personal best at that distance. It was the fourth time this season that Skeuse was the first Colonials finisher.

Skeuse and the Colonials will use the next two weeks to prepare for the Atlantic 10 Championships being held in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, November 1.
